Oh, I love that line: ā€œGardening simply does not allow one to be mentally old, because too many hopes and dreams are yet to be realized.ā€ That is so true for me... as soon as I start planning and thinking about garden plans (or future chickens) I feel so much happier-- like there is promise.

Yes, I think it's a great quote. My daughter says she knew gardening would help me be happier with the changes in my life and I'm glad she reminded me. There is promise.

You have accomplished so much in a short period of time. Thank you wise horticulturalist daughter!

The compelling urge to garden has fallen away from my heart and frontal cortex a number of times. Each time I was convinced I would never return; was burned out; overwhelmed or, in my case, too busy building dance programming for the mobility challenged I returned to marvel the miracle of life bursting forth from seed.

Iā€™m so happy you have once again succumbed to the green addiction .šŸŒ±
