Writing is an integral part of me so I don't think I'll ever stop. I guess I just wonder if the sort of writing I've done for so many decades will continue -- or if I want it to continue. Thanks for your encouragement, Tia.

Do not despair, just follow your instincts, as it looks like you are doing. I am in a quandary as well, watching US politics and wondering how we can reduce the power of the con to capture people's intelligence and plow it under. But I guess that was the purpose of home schooling too ...

Hi Bruce. Over the years, I've become pretty good at following my instincts. And, in response to my latest post here, a Facebook friend today reminded me of this favourite quote by Howard Thurman: "Don't ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
